Illegal alien posts viral selfie claiming she paid taxes, but something is wrong with her tax form

Comment

Arizona – A self-identified illegal alien took to Facebook to brag about the fact that she allegedly paid $300 in taxes to the state of Arizona. She even posted a selfie as “proof” of her contribution.

Except there are quite a few problems with that…

Belen Sisa posted the following to Facebook on March 26th, in the photo included with the post she is seen holding up a 1040 form, while claiming that she’s paying state taxes:

MYTH BUSTER: I, an undocumented immigrant, just filed my taxes and PAID $300 to the state of Arizona. I cannot receive financial aid from the state or federal government for school, I cannot benefit from unemployment, a reduced healthcare plan, or a retirement fund. I think I’m a pretty good citizen. Oh and there are MILLIONS just like me who pay into a system they will never receive anything from. Wanna tell me again how I should be deported, contribute nothing and only leech off this country while the 1% wealthiest people in this country steal from you everyday? How about you show me yours Donald J. Trump? #HereToStay

The problem is that it’s a 1040 federal form and it’s not even filled out. It’s not impossible for anyone to get a tax form and pose with it in their car.

James Allsup pointed out everything wrong with this picture as well as her Facebook status in the following YouTube video.

Belen has received a lot of backlash over her post and was interviewed by CBSN on March, 28th. That interview is posted below…
